I bought the Adidas Terrex Trailmaker Women’s Trail Running Shoes for my wife. She wanted a stable shoe, with good grip outsole and nice cushioning .

I have paid around $90 for a 4.5 size pair, black and grey model .

You can find it at Amazon between $80 to $200 so you need to search for a great deal because you may find the same pair at different prices .

I will start with the outsole because the Continental rubber outsole provides extraordinary grip for the shoe and it has multi-directional lugs for better traction over all types of terrain or wet conditions. From other Adidas running shoes I’ve tested, I can say that Continental Rubber Outsole from Adidas is one of the best out there .

The upper is made from light weight materials, it has a airy mesh (thus in hot conditions the feet may get warm), it has abrasion-resistant welding for the toe and a speed lacing construction (LACE BUNGEE) .

EVA midsole is light, offers good cushioning ( but not so good as BOOST technology from my point of view). It also has a AdiPRENE+ located in the front of the shoe to provide greater forefoot momentum .

In wet conditions the shoe drained water very well and in the mud the outsole was decent .

Overall the shoe is great choice for trail running or even for day to day walking, may be expensive, but if you hunt for a sale you may find it at a great price .
