If you want a DSLR high end and you like Canon brand more than Nikon, Sony or other, the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Full Frame Digital SLR Camera is a really great choice .
Who does not want a DSLR camera ? Maybe those who want a small form factor or those who need less picture quality at 100% zoom or night shots .
This is a semi-pro heavy camera so if you need only a point and shoot DSLR or you are a casual shooting camera you should buy a Canon Rebel T5 DSLR Camera at $399 ! If you can afford you can also learn photography in a high end camera like 5D Mark IV made in Japan.
What makes me buy this camera :
– 30.4 MP full-frame CMOS sensor, now Canon is approaching the Nikons full frame sensors from D800 or D810 .
– a huge 7 frames per second continuous shooting
– a ISO range from 100 to 32000 and 50-102400 ISO expansion
– a focus system of 61-point with 41 cross-points like in its professional EOS-1D X Mark II
– for video recording 4K videos at 30p
– a touch-screen LCD monitor
– weather sealing body
Now after a few hours of usage you will see many improvements over old Canon DSLR cameras (I’ve owned Rebels, Marks and other).
First if you use live view you will see the precise autofocus so it’s easy to shoot 4K videos at great 30p (or 24p) quality .
The 7 fps system does not helps me for what I am doing (for photo journalism is a must), but it has a very limited buffer size so is good it all shooting conditions !
The 30.4 MP full-frame CMOS sensor is it great for me and for stock the pictures are crystal clear at 100% view even at ISO 6400 or more in low light conditions .
It’s a heavy camera, but this is not a bad thing because I have more stability when shooting .
The 3.2″ touch panel LCD is great for live view, menu and after shooting image view .
The DIGIC 6+ Image Processor is fast, the AF system is great.
It has a Dual Pixel RAW system integrated in the EOS 5D Mark IV designed to combat image degradation from lens aberration, focus and other .
Built-in Wi-Fi, NFC Technology or integrated GPS are great addons for easy connection with compatible devices .
So for me (I am using also Nikon camera) it is one of the best cameras I’ve used so it is highly recommended !
