Nikon D500 is Nikon’s successor to the Nikon D300S, a new powerful DSLR that has delivers stunning results in almost all conditions.

My friend owns this camera (I own Canon, Nikon) so I have tried it my self and with his help we wrote this review .

First at $1999 it is one of the expensive DX format DSLR camera of the Nikon’s manufacturer, so which are the reasons to go for it ?

If you ever tried the Nikon D200 or D300S you can remember that those old cameras were the best in range .

So you can think that Nikon D500 is Nikon’s successor to the Nikon D300S.

Nikon D500 DSRL camera has 153 AF points, 99 of them cross-type like Nikon top of the line professional D5 .

D500 can shoot continuously at 10 frames per second with autofocus which work great !

Even is an APS-C sensor camera, the image quality is impressive !

The 4K video works great, it has good AF in video, the manual focus is kind of tricky .

It has a 3.2″ tilting touchscreen LCD, a litter better than Canon 5D Mark IV $3500 full frame because of the tilt function .

The high sensitive native ISO 51200, built-in Wi-Fi, bluetooth, NFC, time laps directly in the camera or weather-sealed body (similar to Nikon D700/D800/D810) makes the Nikon D500 one of great semi-pro DSLR DX format camera, if you can call it so .

It is mall enough to take it with you anywhere, works with all dx lenses I own, Nikon, Tamron or Sigma’s .

In wildlife testing the quality of the images is great and the 10 fps is unbelievable. I have not tested it in sports, but after shooting birds, I think it will work great .

In the nigh time the quality of shots was outstanding for a DX camera, better than a lot of full frame cameras . You can pay $1000 less buying the little brother Nikon D7200 which is also great in low light .

Overall this camera is great ! There are many more expensive or cheaper APS-C sensor cameras out there, but this is one of the most great top of the line one !
