Dell Latitude 5420 Laptop has 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1135G7 (8 MB cache, 4 cores, 8 threads, 2.40 GHz to 4.20 GHz Turbo) processor.
It came with 16 GB DDR4 memory at 3200 MHz, 256 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD Class 35, Windows 10 (Windows 11 license) .
It has 1 RJ-45 Ethernet port, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with PowerShare, 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode/USB4/Power Delivery, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, 1 Universal audio port, 1 microSD-card slot, 1 wedge-shaped lock slot, 1 micro-SIM card tray, 1 smart card reader slot and it is very light at 3.03 lb (1.37kg) .
We bought around 30 pcs so we had enough to test .
You will see the lack of a specific Dell round charging plug, so the charging is made with dedicated type C USB charger, but it has a dedicated 1000 Mb LAN port .
Bios is kind of new look, but easy to use .
Performance is great, fan is making some noise, even on browsing internet or office stuff, but overall is supportable .
Battery is good, not the best, but around 5 hours of browsing .
