Internet Explorer was permanently disabled by Microsoft on February 14 and there is no longer any possibility of disabling redirects or any other method to be used.
If you want that Internet Explorer stop redirects to Microsoft Edge, prevent or stop Internet Explorer opening in Microsoft Edge you can’t in Windows 10 and Windows 11 !
But you can use Microsoft Edge like Internet Explorer and all site will work like you are using Internet Explorer, tested by me !
There are a lot of software like security cameras or other old software that works only in Internet Explorer so here is how to do it :
1. Open Microsoft Edge, press the dotted button at the top right for settings
2. Select Default browser and add the settings to Internet Explorer compatibility like this :
– Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (IE mode) – Allow
– Internet Explorer mode pages – click Add and type you page that you want to be opened like in IE
3. To the pop-up settings, add the sites that have pop-up permission if need it
4. RESTART THE BROWSER OR COMPUTER IF ANY Microsoft Edge PROCESS IS OPEN IN IN TASK MANAGER .
