If you are using Adobe Photoshop, you may want to install new custom shapes or brushes.
Custom Shapes and Brushes are a collection of design elements in Photoshop TM software made by Adobe and can be used to make you results better with a few clicks and less work.
You may find online many open source Custom Shapes and Brushes to download for free, so you need to know how to install and use them.
So in this tutorial, we will show you how to install it.
To install a new Custom Shape you’ve downloaded in local folder on you computer, you’ll have to first select the Custom Shape Tool from the toolbar.
After that from the Custom Shapes Options Bar, select the Custom Shape Picker dropdown.
In this window, you’ll be able to brows and pick any of your currently installed custom shapes for use in your documents.
In this window we click on “Load Shape“.
Once you click Load Shapes, a browser will be opened up for you. From the browser, just click on directory where you saved your custom shapes and load them from there.
Your new shapes will be available in the Shape Picker after that
To install Brushes select the Brush tool from the toolbar.
From the Options Bar, select the Brush Preset Picker dropdown menu, click the arrow off to the right, and then select “Load brushes“.
From the browser, just click on directory where you saved your custom shapes and load them from there.
You’re new brushes will be available in the Brush Preset Picker, as well as the Brushes window.
