Microsoft Windows introduced Libraries in Windows 7 and it is also available in Windows 8 and Windows 10 and with this feature you can order folders and files in a library so you have some folders like music and pictures files by default in one place, but you can make your own structure with any folders and files you may want in the library.
For example, you can have pictures and movies files in multiple folders on your hard disk.
By adding each folder containing movies to the Movies Library, you can access all of those files at the same time .
So how to order folders in library ?
Folders inside the Windows library show up in the same order in which you included them, so if you want to change the display order of folders inside the library or to sort them manually, you can do it using the library properties dialog.
You need to open File Explorer and expand Libraries. Then right click on the Library in the navigation pane and click on Properties.
(Libraries are hidden by default in the Windows 10 File Explorer navigation pane. To show it open File Explorer. In the View tab, click Navigation pane and enable Show libraries.)
In the Library properties dialog, you can order the folders by dragging and dropping or using the “Move up” and “Move down” options in the right-click menu.
Once arranged, click OK to save your settings.
Your libraries are stored in the C:\Users\USER-NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries .
That is it, good luck !
