Some user complain about the fact that the Outlook main menu bar is missing from the mail program.
To find and restore Tool bar menu you need to reset on your Toolbar in Outlook by renaming outcmd.dat to .old .
To do so you need to follow these steps :
Close Microsoft Outlook .
In Windows XP go to
C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\
In Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 go to
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\
The folder is hidden, so you need to unhide . To do so click on start and in search type folder options. Open the folder options and on view tab, on hidden files and folders click on Show hidden files …, then uncheck the Hide extensions for known file types and then ok . Now you should see the Outlook main folder .
The find the outcmd.dat and rename it to outcmd.dat.old or whatever you want.
Open Outlook. That’s it !
Hope this helps .
