How to setup and make shortcut for PPPoE internet connections in Windows 10

First we are going to make a PPPoE internet connections in Windows 10 which is different than Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 8 .

You need to launch Settings (there are many ways to do that) – chose one of bellow :
1. From Start menu (Start > Settings ‘It’s a wheel symbol’)
2. Use search/Cortana and type settings
3. Right click or press and hold anywhere on the empty space on the taskbar. Then, click or tap Settings.
4. Press the Windows + I keys together
5. Use command prompt from search type CMD and when command prompt window will open type start ms-settings:

– After that click on Network & Internet section .
– Select Dial-up from the list of options on the left.
– Click or tap on the Set up a new connection link bellow Dial-up section.
– Set Up a Connection or Network windows will open.
– select Connect to the Internet and click or tap the Next button.
– In the Connect to the Internet window, click or tap on Broadband (PPPoE).
– Now in your PPPoE connection you need to type the User name and Password given to you by your ISP.
– Check remember password if want .
– click or tap on Connect to start the connection .
– Now the connection will guide you through a few steps for verifying username, password and test your internet connection.
– Click or tap on the Browse the Internet now and your default browser will open and you can test you Internet connection .

Now if you to make a shortcut on you desktop for the PPPoE internet connection you need to follow some basic steps :

1. Right-click or tap and hold any blank place on the Windows 10 Desktop.
2. Choose New > Shortcut.
3. Into the input box (Type the location of the item) type ms-settings:network-dialup
4. Click Next, type a shortcut name whatever you want, and click Finish.
