Today we review the ASUS VivoBook S15 S510UA, a new thinner and lighter laptop, that costs less than $1000 .

At around $900 the ASUS VivoBook S15 S510UA we bought features a Intel® Core™ i7 8th generation processor with 1.80 GHz speed, a 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and a Intel UHD 620 graphics .

What we seen and felt is the 1.5kg weight and the 17.9mm thickness .

The ASUS VivoBook S S510U has a 15.6” Full HD display with very nice frame, 178˚wide viewing angle, 7.8mm NanoEdge bezel, 80% screen-to-body ratio .

The dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.1, USB 2.0, HDMI and SD card slots are great features and almost all you need for a ultrabook .

We got a dim golden design that looks great !

Laptop came with a free operating sistem, I installed Windows 10 1709 Pro on 64 bit, installing was easy, press F2, go to Bios, change the boot to usb stick and save and exit .

Installing Windows 10 was quick, less than 20 minutes !

Battery took about 1.5 Hrs to charge and you can use it on battery between 6 to 10 hours .

I installed the drivers with a USB DVDrom, the laptop came with a DVD with drivers for Windows 10 64 bit. It probably took more than windows installation it self and the laptop restarted 5-6 times to finish installation .

The charger is a little hot when charging the battery and also the laptop it self is a little hot under the bottom logo .

Everything was quick and smooth and I am very happy with the purchase .
